Position: Mechanical Locomotive Supervisor Role
Join CN as a Mechanical Locomotive Supervisor responsible for day-to-day locomotive operations, ensuring safety and efficiency in a 24/7 environment. Oversee inspection, maintenance, and repair activities for optimal fleet reliability.

This supervisory role requires managing unionized staff at a main terminal or Mechanical Operations Center. Key responsibilities include coaching employees on safety procedures, monitoring performance compliance, and making informed decisions about locomotive repairs. You will coordinate maintenance schedules and drive improvements in safety and efficiency across operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach staff on safe work procedures

• Analyze data for maintenance requirements

• Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards

• Supervise employee training and onboarding

• Delegate and respond to trouble-calls

Requirements:

• 4+ years supervisory experience

• 3+ years in railroad Mechanical Shopcraft

• High School Diploma required

• Valid Driver’s License needed

• Knowledge of locomotive inspection and repair
