Position: Dynamic Executive Director for ECALA
Join ECALA as the Executive Director and spearhead adult foundational learning initiatives in Edmonton and Alberta. This leadership role focuses on community impact and strategic advocacy for adult education.

As the chief executive officer of ECALA, you will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction and achieving organizational success. You’ll oversee financial stewardship and engage with various stakeholders to promote innovative educational programs, managing over $2.5 million in public funding. Your mission will be to advance lifelong learning opportunities for adults and strengthen community partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for adult education

• Foster strong government relations and sector leadership

• Manage grant funding and community investments

• Lead a dedicated team towards achieving goals

• Monitor and analyze community impact and performance metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field;
Master’s preferred

• Minimum seven years of relevant senior leadership experience

• Proven track record with substantial budgets

• Experience fostering strategic partnerships

• Knowledge about Indigenous community engagement preferred
