In this full-time role, you will oversee a team of 25 dedicated staff members and manage a robust budget for conservation initiatives. You'll be responsible for guiding the development of restoration objectives, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with internal and external partners to increase the impact of conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the team to align restoration efforts with DUC’s goals
• Support recruitment and career development initiatives
• Monitor and report program outcomes and impacts
• Secure funding for conservation initiatives
• Collaborate with government and Indigenous partners
Requirements:
• At least eight years of experience in conservation programs
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Ability to travel frequently within the Prairie Provinces
• Strong oversight in ecological policies and compliance
As a strategic thinker, drive the success of transformation initiatives for conservation in the Prairies Region.
