Lead Abilities Management at the City of Edmonton, enhancing disability services. This strategic position focuses on managing Short and Long Term Disability claims in a hybrid model.
We are looking for a Team Lead for Abilities Management to oversee a dedicated team. In this role, your 5 to 7 years of experience in case management will ensure accurate claim adjudication. You will collaborate with internal departments and external partners to manage complex claims effectively, promoting a healthy and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide operational oversight and coaching for Abilities Management team
• Administer STD and LTD claims to ensure compliance
• Facilitate Return to Work plans effectively
• Create and maintain a robust QA/QC program
• Recommend proactive enhancements based on claims data
Requirements:
• Degree in social sciences or related field
• 5 to 7 years of professional Rehabilitation experience
• Experience leading within a unionized environment
• Familiarity with Alberta Human Rights and Privacy legislation
• Skilled in case management systems and digital tools
