Director of Project ManagementOur construction client is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of
Project Management to lead project execution and
team development across a dynamic construction environment. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards, while optimizing resources and maintaining
client satisfaction. The Director will oversee the
Project Management team, drive process improvements, and collaborate across departments to align execution with business goals.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in construction
project management, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to operational excellence.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:Lead and develop a high-performing project management team through coaching, mentoring, and strategic guidanceDesign and implement efficient project management processes that align with industry best practices and organizational goalsManage scheduling capacity to ensure optimal resource utilization and timely project deliveryOversee project budgets and timelines, proactively identifying risks and ensuring financial performanceFacilitate collaboration across departments to align project execution with broader business objectivesConduct regular project reviews and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholdersUse performance data to drive continuous improvement and enhance project outcomesEnsure compliance with safety standards, internal policies, and client requirementsChampion a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellenceYour strengths include:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldPMP or equivalent project management certification10+ years of experience in construction project management5+ years in a leadership roleStrong leadership and strategic thinking skillsExcellent decision-making and problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and maintain financial oversightProficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and ERP systemsHigh integrity, confidentiality, and accountabilityDiplomatic approach to conflict resolutionCalm and strategic mindset under pressureStrong written and verbal communication skills
