LSCFN’s Lands and Resources Department is hiring a Field Supervisor for a permanent full-time position. The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Environmental Studies or Business Administration, accompanied by three years of relevant workplace experience. This role is crucial for coordinating field activities, ensuring the safety of operations, and contributing to the development of procedural guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate administrative elements like records and orders
• Support recruiting and training of staff including River Rangers
• Create and implement operational plans for field activities
• Enforce Occupational Health and Safety standards
• Manage firearms policy and staff compliance
Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in a relevant discipline
• Minimum three years in resource management
• Knowledge of LSCFN cultural and governance structures
• Proficient in conflict management skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with no infractions
