This role offers a chance to directly impact community well-being through data-driven enforcement strategies.
The City of Edmonton is seeking a forward-thinking leader for the Automated Enforcement unit. With a minimum of seven years in progressively responsible positions, you’ll collaborate with Edmonton Police Service and oversee a team while managing complex enforcement strategies. Engage with diverse stakeholders and contribute to the Vision Zero mandate, aiming for safer, accessible travel throughout the city.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead corporate enforcement strategies for traffic safety
• Oversee unit budget and forecast enforcement reserves
• Collaborate with Edmonton Police Service and local government
• Ensure compliance with provincial enforcement guidelines
• Coach and develop a team of 12 FTEs for optimal performance
Requirements:
• University Degree in relevant fields
• A minimum of 7 years in program leadership
• 2 years supervisory experience required
• Experience in automated program development is an asset
• Strong project management and communication skills
