Lead a team as Shop Manager II at U-Haul's rental equipment repair shop in Edmonton, Alberta. You will oversee operations, ensuring safety standards and effective maintenance while managing personnel.
In this managerial position, you will directly report to the Marketing Company President and guide a team of six to 15 repair shop personnel. Your focus will be on implementing preventive maintenance, managing parts inventory, and ensuring all repair services meet U-Haul standards. Engage in ongoing training to develop your team's skills through U-Haul's educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct preventive maintenance services for truck fleets
• Manage parts inventory with established minimums and maximums
• Conduct safety certification inspections on rental equipment
• Oversee personnel administration including hiring and training
• Ensure compliance with U-Haul repair guidelines
Requirements:
• Valid motor vehicle operation skills
• Familiarity with U-Haul product standards
• Experience in personnel management and training
• Understanding of warranty procedures
• Ability to perform safety certifications
