Parole Officer Supervisor

Drive healing and reintegration as a Parole Officer Supervisor for Native Counselling Services of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time role supports Indigenous individuals through culturally relevant practices and holistic programs.

As the Parole Supervisor, you will oversee parole officers and ensure adherence to guidelines by Correctional Services Canada and NCSA. Your responsibilities include reviewing community assessments, engaging with staff, and preparing reports for the Director of Corrections. This role is vital for promoting resilience and self-determination among Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support parole officers and ensure procedural compliance

• Review community assessments and collaborate with staff

• Prepare comprehensive reports for Corrections and funders

• Supervise parole officers and maintain effective communication

• Handle community outreach as required

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminology, or related fields

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Valid Alberta driver’s license with reliable vehicle

• Up-to-date criminal record and security check
