Join Parkland County as the Road Maintenance Manager, ensuring a safe and efficient road network for the community. Drive operational excellence through effective leadership and collaboration.
In this full-time, permanent role, you will manage the overall road maintenance operations, directly supervising field staff and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will work closely with the Director of Road Maintenance and Drainage, focusing on budget management and program coordination. Your proven technical skills will play a vital role in service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage road maintenance and repair programs
• Supervise and lead field staff with focus on safety
• Monitor budget performance and coordinate programs
• Collaborate with other departments for integrated service
• Ensure adherence to departmental priorities and regulations
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
• Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) required
• Five years of relevant management experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and clean record
