UP Marketing is looking for a Strategic Marketing Lead to help guide client strategy, lead meaningful conversations, and connect marketing efforts to real business growth.
This is not a “manage social media posts and send reports” type of role.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor for clients while collaborating closely with our internal marketing, design, web, and digital teams to bring campaigns and ideas to life. You’ll lead strategy, guide execution, identify opportunities, and help clients make smarter marketing decisions, without needing to personally execute every tactic yourself.
We’re looking for someone who understands agency life, communicates with confidence, thinks commercially, and genuinely enjoys building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Lead strategic conversations with clients and act as a trusted marketing advisor
Build strong long‑term relationships rooted in transparency, confidence, and results
Understand client business goals and translate them into actionable marketing strategies
Facilitate meetings, present recommendations, and confidently guide discussions
Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities or challenges
Campaign & Marketing Oversight
Collaborate with internal specialists across digital marketing, content, design, and web
Oversee integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
Review performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting to identify strategic improvements
Ensure projects remain aligned with budgets, timelines, and business goals
Help prioritize initiatives based on impact, ROI, and client objectives
Provide strategic guidance and constructive feedback to internal teams
Help improve processes, workflows, communication, and campaign execution
Collaborate with leadership and operations to ensure accounts run efficiently
Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and marketing initiatives
Bring forward creative ideas, emerging trends, and innovative approaches
Stay curious about marketing tools, AI, consumer behaviour, and industry shifts
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking
What We’re Looking For
Must‑Haves
5+ years of experience in account management, marketing strategy, or agency leadership
Previous agency experience is required
Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, campaigns, and customer journeys
Experience managing multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect marketing efforts to business outcomes
High emotional intelligence and relationship‑building ability
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation

The Details
Full‑time, in‑office position, once settled in hybrid work is available
Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
3 weeks vacation + 5 personal days
