Market Research Assistant Volunteer (Virtual)

Join us as a Market Research Assistant Volunteer for York Region Educational Services (YRES), a non‑profit organization dedicated to providing free and affordable educational resources.

Summary

Do you have a strong work ethic and are passionate about education and community programs? Be part of a team where you can work for a non‑profit organization and make an impact on students to learn more!

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns to promote programs, events, and organizational initiatives.
  • Manage social media accounts, website content, and digital communications to increase engagement and visibility.
  • Create marketing materials including newsletters, brochures, posters, and presentations.
  • Conduct market research and analyse data to inform marketing decisions and measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Coordinate events, outreach initiatives, and promotional activities to build community awareness and participation.
  • Collaborate with staff, partners, and vendors to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for management.
  • Support public relations and communications efforts, including media relations and community engagement.

Requirements
  • Minimum age: 12.

Additional Assets
  • Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English.
