York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Data Analysis Assistant Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves data analysis.

• Contributing to team projects when assigned
• Working with spreadsheets and large datasets
• Promoting a welcoming and inclusive work environment for everyone
• Arriving to work on time/signing into shift on time

• Develop and enhance transferable soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication
• Gain experience, volunteer hours, and skills that are resume‑worthy in a workplace environment

• Minimum age: 12
• Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software
• Complete training prior to start date
• Can commit to the shift schedule
• Fluency/high proficiency in a language other than English
• Previous volunteer experience
