Position: Regional Coordinator for Early Literacy Program
Shape the future of literacy with Strong Start as the Regional Program Coordinator in Ontario East. This part-time role focuses on program development and community relations.

In this position, you will take the lead in coordinating the Letters, Sounds and Words™ program, working closely with school boards and local communities. Your outgoing nature and organizational skills will help foster relationships with educators, donors, and volunteers, while you manage public relations and fund development initiatives.

This role offers a chance to speak at community events and inspire support for early literacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strengthen community partnerships for program delivery

• Support new site implementations and training

• Communicate with Site Coordinators regularly

• Enhance fundraising and promotional activities

• Record and maintain program impact stories

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields

• Experience in elementary education or program coordination

• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365

• Travel within Ontario East required
