Position: Provincial Coordinator for Youth Events
Lead the charge in supporting Métis youth initiatives as the Provincial Youth Project Coordinator for Otipemisiwak Métis Government in Edmonton. This full-time position is key in the delivery of youth services and events.

As part of the Youth Programs and Services Department, you will work closely with stakeholders to create engaging programs for Métis youth. Responsible for coordinating events like Cultural Youth Camps and Miyooayaan Wellness Summit, you will ensure that every project meets its objectives while fostering community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement youth-specific programs and events

• Facilitate logistics for all departmental events

• Supervise staff and volunteers during events

• Communicate effectively with participants and stakeholders

• Conduct evaluations for continuous improvement of programs

Requirements:

• Two years in event planning and program implementation

• Preferred degree/diploma in a related field

• Experience with grant writing is an asset

• Strong communication and administrative skills

• Valid driver’s license and police clearance required
