Edmonton Regional Lead at NCCM

Drive community engagement as the Edmonton Regional Lead for the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM). This full-time role focuses on building relationships and coordinating outreach in the community.

The Edmonton Regional Lead will work directly with local masajid, organizations, and community leaders to enhance NCCM’s visibility and engagement. Under the supervision of the Chief Mobilization Officer, you'll represent NCCM at various events and oversee volunteer efforts within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with masajid and community organizations

• Coordinate outreach efforts including events and meetings

• Represent NCCM at community gatherings and conferences

• Recruit and support volunteers across the region

• Maintain records of community engagement and outreach

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-2 years of experience

• Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Experience in community engagement or advocacy roles

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
