As a key member of the Alberta team, you will report to the Regional Manager and engage both independently and collaboratively. Your expertise in program planning, community partnerships, and volunteer management will drive effective literacy programs in schools. This role also requires mentoring staff and volunteers, ensuring literacy remains a priority in underserved communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and evaluate community literacy programs
• Manage and train volunteers effectively
• Deliver workshops and professional development sessions
• Coordinate community events related to literacy
• Build relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Experience in educational settings with diverse learners
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Screen required
Lead impactful literacy programs in Edmonton by fostering community engagement and volunteer support.
