Position: Director of Advancement and Philanthropy Leadership
Mac Ewan University is hiring a Director of Philanthropy to lead their comprehensive fundraising strategy. This full-time role champions donor engagement and alumni relations across the university.

In this newly established position, you will provide strategic direction and oversee all aspects of philanthropy. Collaborating with university leadership, the Director will drive fundraising effectiveness and foster partnerships within the community. The role includes the management of a high-performing team dedicated to donor relations and stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for fundraising operations

• Align donor experience throughout the engagement lifecycle

• Cultivate relationships with donors and community partners

• Lead performance management and coaching of philanthropy staff

• Review and track fundraising program effectiveness

Requirements:

• Required bachelor’s degree in related field

• Minimum of 10 years in fundraising or advancement

• Proven ability to manage donor relations

• Experience in leading fundraising campaigns

• Proficiency in relevant fundraising software
