Explore Edmonton is looking for a talented Demi Chef to join its prestigious culinary team at the Edmonton EXPO Centre. In this vital role, you will prepare high-quality food, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and play a key role in the execution of various events. Supported by experienced chefs, this position provides ample opportunity for culinary creativity and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cook a variety of food items according to specifications

• Evaluate the quality of dishes prepared by staff

• Ensure timely food service to event areas

• Communicate with Sous Chef regarding daily production

• Keep detailed records of food quality and waste

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Culinary Arts or related field

• Required certifications:
Food Safety and Red Seal

• 5–7 years of operational experience in kitchens

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Able to lift heavy items (up to 24 kg)
