Position: VIP Kitchen (Seasonal) - Cineplex Cinemas Lansdowne & VIP
What you will do   Pay rate: $17.95 per hour Term end:

A VIP Kitchen Cast Member is responsible for the preparation of high-quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. Kitchen Cast Members must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. The Cast Member must be prepared to work as a team member in a dynamic workplace, follow all safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities     Food Service Preparation – Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients (e.g. chopping vegetables, preparing meat, or preparing sauces)
Food Service Execution – Ensure high standard of food quality and follow to plating specifications, ensure that orders come out in excellent quality and promptly
Food Safety and Organization – Comply with different kitchen standards such as nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards, ensure cleanliness of kitchen, maintain stock inventory
Kitchen Leadership – maintain a positive and professional approach with the team and staff
Requirements     Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Superior understanding of how food preparation relates to delivering an exceptional Guest Experience
Proven problem solving and quick-thinking skills in fast-paced situations
A flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
