Executive Chef JW Marriott Edmonton

Lead culinary operations at JW Marriott Edmonton with menu development and financial management across Braven, Kindred, Alchemy, and the Lobby Bar.

The Executive Chef provides strategic leadership across multiple culinary teams and outlets. This senior leader oversees the Chef de Cuisine and culinary leadership team while shaping food quality, consistency, creativity, and execution. The position connects culinary direction with guest experience and business performance.

• Set culinary vision, priorities, and long-term operating strategies
• Lead, mentor, and develop culinary leadership teams
• Oversee menus, recipes, purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships
• Manage food costs, labour costs, budgets, and forecasts
• Ensure standards for quality, sanitation, safety, and execution

• Seven to ten years of progressive culinary leadership experience
• Senior leadership experience in high-volume hospitality or restaurant operations
• Post-secondary education in culinary arts, hospitality, or related studies
• Food Handler certification required;
  Red Seal considered an asset
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and required business periods
