Sales Representative – Dermatology (Topical) – 1 Year Contract – Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Position SummaryAs the primary sales contact for assigned customer accounts, you will drive sales of our dermatology topical products within the Edmonton territory. Your focus will be on territory sales targets, new business development, and troubleshooting on key markets. You will manage your territory like a small business, formulating short‑ and long‑term customer plans to achieve sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Demonstrate masterful product knowledge and consistently deliver key messages to customers in diverse selling situations.
- Engage customers in needs‑based selling discussions that position our products as solutions to identified needs.
- Leverage clinical, social, and business insights to drive adoption and build long‑term loyalty.
- Treat all front‑office personnel, nurses, and office managers as customers and maintain a professional, courteous presence.
- Own and deliver on sales results, maintaining situational awareness in clinics, offices, and hospitals.
- Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term customer plans, using data sources such as Xponent, TSA Sales, and FSA data to identify growth opportunities.
- Use doctor‑level information to customize selling approaches, ensuring optimal access to key decision makers and efficient use of sales time.
- Maintain strong customer focus by meeting expectations and requirements of both external and internal customers.
- Report any adverse events, events of special interest, or medical device incidents within 24 hours of awareness, following Bausch Health Adverse Event Training guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sciences, or related field.
- 2–3 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience.
- Motivated self‑starter with exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public‑speaking skills.
- Adaptable, learns quickly, and thrives on challenges.
- Strong computer literacy and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to discuss scientific matters within a professional context.
Base pay ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, with additional eligibility for an annual bonus program or sales incentive plan. Compensation is based on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
