Business Development LeadOur client is seeking a Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth through structured sales leadership, strategic execution, and
team accountability. This role is responsible for leading a group of sales professionals while contributing to overall sales strategy, market expansion, and performance across both existing and new markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience in sales or business development, a structured and data‑driven approach, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:Lead and manage the sales team, driving performance, accountability, and alignment with organizational objectivesEstablish and maintain a structured operating cadence including one‑on‑one meetings, team reviews, and strategic planning sessionsTranslate business growth targets into clear sales priorities and execute consistently against themMaintain disciplined pipeline management, including accurate tracking of prospects and opportunitiesDrive revenue growth across existing accounts while expanding into new marketsBalance direct selling responsibilities with leadership activities to support overall team successPartner with cross‑functional teams to align sales initiatives with operational capacity and strategyDevelop and execute sales training initiatives to enhance team capability and performanceBuild product, market, and process knowledge across the sales teamMonitor performance metrics and provide accurate, timely reporting to support decision‑makingIdentify performance gaps and implement corrective actions to improve outcomesFoster strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholdersYour strengths include:Proven leadership experience in sales, business development, or a related fieldStrong ability to manage and develop high‑performing teamsDemonstrated success driving revenue growth and market expansionStructured, disciplined approach to sales processes, forecasting, and CRM utilizationStrong strategic thinking combined with execution focusExcellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder‑management skillsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and drive improvementAbility to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environmentWillingness to travel periodically for client meetings and market development
