We are hiring a Solar Appointment Setter to connect with homeowners, generate interest in solar energy, and schedule qualified appointments for our sales team.
This is a field‑based, customer‑facing role focused on starting conversations, building trust, and creating opportunities for solar consultations.
Position Overview
The Solar Appointment Setter is responsible for engaging with homeowners, identifying potential interest, collecting basic qualifying information, and booking appointments for the sales team.
This role supports the early stages of the sales process and does not involve closing sales. It is best suited for individuals who enjoy a fast‑paced, performance‑driven environment and are comfortable speaking with new people.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate conversations with homeowners about solar energy solutions
Generate interest and schedule qualified appointments
Collect basic information to support design and proposal preparation
Follow up with leads and maintain communication
Track activity and update internal systems
Work closely with the sales team to support the pipeline
Represent the company in a professional and customer‑focused manner

Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable speaking with new people and building rapport
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to work in a performance‑based environment
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or field work is a plus
Compensation
Target earnings: $55,000-$95,000 in year one, with higher upside for strong performers.
This is a performance‑based contractor opportunity. Additional compensation details will be discussed during the interview process.
Schedule
Flexible schedule
Evening and weekend availability expected
Peak season typically runs from March through November
