Overview
Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager - Rentals for our Edmonton Construction & Forestry locations.
The Territory Manager - Rentals is responsible for developing new customer relationships while maintaining and growing existing accounts. This role focuses on consultive selling, understanding customer jobsite needs and delivering equipment rental solutions that support their success. This role requires a strong ability to identify and pursue new opportunities while also acting as a trusted advisor to existing customers.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow an assigned territory and customer portfolio
Build strong relationships with existing customers across the Brandt Group of Companies
Proactively prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, site visits and networking
Create daily and weekly customer visit plans and execute regular in-person jobsite meetings
Prepare sales action plans to expand wallet share within existing accounts
Recommend equipment solutions based on customer job requirements, timelines, and budgets
Generate quotes, manage equipment availability, and coordinate rentals
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating internally on service, billing, and logistics
Maintain accurate records of customer activity, opportunities, and pipeline in the CRM
Participate in industry associations, trade shows, and local networking events
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and activity metrics
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction
Submit expense accounts on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy
Qualifications
Proven success in outside sales, preferably within equipment rental, construction, or heavy equipment
Strong understanding of construction equipment and jobsite operations
Demonstrated ability to prospect, close, and grow accounts
Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills
Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
Ability to remain professional, organized, and customer‑focused in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated “prospector” mindset with strong follow‑through
Customer‑first attitude with a consultative sales approach
Comfortable working independently in the field
Highly organized
Collaborative team player who works well with operations, service, and finance teams
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
