Canada Security Collective is supporting a client with the search for a full‑time Account Executive to join their Edmonton‑based team. This is a high‑impact role for someone who wants to build, grow, and stay long term.

About the Role
We’re looking for a high‑energy, high‑initiative hunter who thrives in the field, loves breaking into new accounts, and wants to make a name for themselves in one of the fastest‑growing sectors in Canada: integrated building technology for multi‑residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury developments.

This is a role for someone who gets excited about spotting cranes, construction fences, and new developments and sees opportunity everywhere! You’ll be the one driving the first conversation, building trust with developers and builders, and converting opportunities into long‑term clients.

What You’ll Do
Hunt for New Business (Primary Focus)

Identify new builds and initiate in‑person introductions.

Build relationships by demonstrating a superior value proposition.

Build trust with site supers, project managers, construction leads, and developers.

Move prospects through the pipeline: introduction → drawings → design → proposal → close.

Build Long‑Term Developer Relationships

Develop and nurture relationships with builders, developers, and construction firms.

Position your company as the preferred partner for integrated building technology.

Secure repeat business through consistent, high‑touch engagement.

Own Your Territory

Plan your days intentionally: site visits, coffees, lunches, follow‑ups.

Build a book of business that grows through recurring construction projects.

Track opportunities, forecast pipeline, and maintain CRM accuracy.

Collaborate with Technical & Design Teams

Work closely with internal design and operations teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Participate in walkthroughs, design reviews, and client presentations.

Ensure seamless handover and execution for every project.

Proven experience in sales with a strong track record of achieving targets.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong negotiation ability and comfort influencing decision‑makers.

Comfortable handling rejection and maintaining momentum in a competitive sales environment.

Experience in security, commercial technology, and/or low‑voltage industries (highly desirable).

Familiarity with CRM platforms (highly desirable).

Understanding of commercial automation is beneficial but not required.

Comfortable with Alberta‑wide travel (primarily Edmonton/Calgary).

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
