Exploration Geologist

Position: Exploration Geologist for Axis Geoscience
Axis Geoscience Ltd. seeks an Exploration Geologist to support field operations across Canada’s mineral exploration projects. This role focuses on geological mapping, core logging, and ensuring robust data integrity.

You will be part of a small, fast-moving team that operates in remote settings, responsible for planning and executing exploration programs. Your work will involve observing geological features, supervising drilling, and providing data management support. Prioritize safety and environmental compliance throughout your tasks while driving exploration efforts forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute geological mapping and prospecting efforts

• Support drilling operations and core data validation

• Maintain detailed geological and geotechnical records

• Assist in generating exploration reports and models

• Collaborate effectively with management and contractors

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in geological prospecting and sampling

• Background in maintaining drill and core records

• Understanding of structural geology and geophysical data

• Experience using GIS platforms like ArcGIS or Leapfrog

• Ability to operate efficiently in challenging environments
