Triton is expanding its environmental consulting team with dedicated Wetlands Professionals. This role allows you to conduct essential wetland surveys, assisting project management and ensuring adherence to client requirements. By offering support in vegetation ecology and soil assessments, your contributions will significantly impact project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute wetland monitoring and assessment tasks
• Liaise with field staff to ensure accurate reporting
• Conduct vegetation and soil inventories on project sites
• Plan and coordinate effective field surveys
• Prepare necessary permit documentation for compliance
Requirements:
• Registered AWP designation with relevant biology or ecology degree
• Established experience with Alberta Wetland Policy
• Proficient in plant identification and environmental reporting
• Strong independent work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license for job-related travel
