Environmental Planning Specialist in Alberta

Contribute to impactful environmental projects with Carson Integrated as an Environmental Planner in downtown Edmonton. This hybrid role includes fieldwork throughout northern Alberta, allowing flexibility and engagement.

As an Intermediate Environmental Planner, you will utilize your experience with aquatic assessments and regulatory documents. You will be responsible for significant planning tasks, including conducting assessments, monitoring projects, and ensuring client projects meet regulatory standards. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred, along with a focus on environmental best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wetland and vegetation assessments in the field

• Develop strategies for regulatory approvals

• Prepare technical reports and mitigation plans

• Manage project timelines and budgets effectively

• Liaise with stakeholders during project planning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in relevant fields

• 3+ years field data collection and regulatory experience

• Qualified Aquatic Environmental Specialist certification

• Proficient with Alberta environmental legislation

• Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
