Join Associated Environmental Consultants in Edmonton as a Contaminated Sites Scientist focused on environmental assessments and fieldwork. This junior to intermediate-level role offers a hybrid work model to collect data and analyze projects.
As a key contributor to environmental initiatives, you will participate in Phase I and II assessments, remediation, and monitoring programs. Ideal candidates will have experience in environmental consulting, particularly with field skills such as groundwater and soil sampling. You’ll prepare detailed scientific reports and manage project tasks efficiently while supporting regulatory processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data collection for environmental site assessments
• Prepare regulatory and technical reports
• Contribute to budget management for projects
• Engage in field programs across Alberta
• Support associated specialists in compliance tasks
Requirements:
• Relevant undergraduate degree required
• 3–5+ years of contaminated sites experience
• Field experience with sampling techniques
• Registration eligibility with professional organizations in Alberta
• Valid driver’s license is necessary
