At Onterris, we seek a skilled Intermediate Wildlife Biologist to support diverse environmental assessments. With 4-7+ years of relevant experience, you will conduct species-at-risk assessments, nest sweeps, and amphibian relocations. This role requires collaboration with project managers and colleagues to uphold safety and data quality standards while addressing compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct various wildlife surveys and habitat assessments
• Implement field programs, including amphibian captures
• Manage daily field planning and logistics
• Ensure data accuracy and quality through QA/QC processes
• Communicate updates to project managers and clients
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Science
• 4-7+ years of relevant wildlife experience
• Proficient in GPS/GIS data collection
• Strong identification skills for wildlife
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and safety mindset
