Environmental Consultant

Join Ambipar Response Canada Inc. as an Environmental Consultant specializing in spill response in Edmonton, AB. Engage in emergency response and environmental consulting while working in the field approximately 70-80% of the time.

In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated Environmental Spill Response team, conducting vital fieldwork across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and northeastern British Columbia. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Environmental Science or a related field and exhibit a strong focus on safety procedures. Flexibility to respond outside regular hours for emergencies is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency spill response and contractor coordination

• Conduct soil and water sampling for analysis

• Prepare and maintain detailed daily reports

• Communicate project updates to team members

• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental Science or related field

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Experience in a safety-focused environment

• Relevant safety certifications preferred

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
