As an Intermediate Wildlife Biologist at Onterris, you will leverage your expertise to conduct critical wildlife surveying and data collection. This position is suited for candidates with 4-7+ years of hands-on experience in the field. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure safety standards and data accuracy while actively participating in environmental assessments and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive wildlife and breeding bird surveys
• Execute field program activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines
• Prepare safety plans and coordinate logistics for field trips
• Oversee data quality assurance and reporting efforts
• Collaborate with environmental specialists on various projects
Requirements:
• Advanced degree in Biology, Ecology, or Environmental Science
• 4-7+ years of relevant experience in wildlife biology
• Proven skills in habitat assessments and monitoring
• Comfortable operating ATVs and light trucks
• Eligible for P.Biol. registration as an asset
