Join Arcadis Canada as an Intermediate Environmental Field Technician, positioned in Alberta or the prairie provinces. Engage in sustainable engineering by conducting vital environmental assessments and sampling activities.
This role emphasizes hands-on experience in environmental science or engineering with a proven track record in soil and groundwater sampling and site assessment. You will work closely with Project Managers, manage contractors, and ensure compliance with environmental guidelines while contributing substantially to team projects. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop mentorship skills while making significant contributions to environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and coordinate environmental site investigations
• Monitor and supervise drilling and remediation projects
• Collect and document soil and groundwater samples
• Write comprehensive reports based on fieldwork results
• Independently manage contractors during site operations
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or bachelor's degree in relevant field
• 3+ years of relevant environmental experience
• Familiarity with environmental regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and detail-oriented skills
• Eligibility for E.I.T. or G.I.T. preferred
