Join AGAT Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician B in Edmonton, Alberta, with a focus on In organics and Environmental lab work. This role requires weekend availability to support critical laboratory functions.
You will operate under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor and be responsible for conducting basic lab tasks while ensuring adherence to quality control standards. The position is perfect for recent graduates or those with minimal laboratory experience who are eager to contribute to scientific excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and calibrate lab samples and solutions
• Ensure proper cleaning of glassware and workstations
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Record data reliability and accuracy
• Follow all established Standard Operating Procedures
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma or Science Degree
• 0-2 years of laboratory experience is a plus
• Competence with MS Office and LIMS
• Strong communication skills in English
• Capable of lifting 25+ pounds and working in diverse conditions
