Join Amii as a Knowledge Mobilization Librarian, focusing on optimizing AI training content discoverability and managing intellectual property in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance and promoting accessibility.
As the Librarian, you will support the Training Team with effective research and retrieval strategies while also serving as the custodian of corporate records and Intellectual Property (IP). Your efforts in managing archives and metadata will be key to Amii’s mission of impactful AI education. Collaborating cross-functionally, this position ensures that our world-class research outputs are accessible and legally documented.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and governance of taxonomies for content access
• Perform audits to identify and address content gaps
• Architect workflows linking learning to research outcomes
• Steward the Amii Intellectual Property Register
• Oversee the preservation of foundational corporate documents
Requirements:
• MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years in digital asset management role
• Knowledge of licensing agreements and copyright
• Proficient in DAM systems and metadata standards
• Strong grasp of Canadian Intellectual Property law
Drive knowledge transfer and safeguard intellectual assets to support Amii’s objectives and AI for all initiatives.
