Reporting to the Woodlands Manager, you will be key in developing, implementing, and administering the Sustainability and Environmental Management System (SEMS), ensuring FSC Forest Management certification compliance. Your engagement with Indigenous communities will support sustainable forestry and enhance collaborative decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead administration of Sustainability and Environmental Management initiatives
• Manage requirements for FSC Forest Management certification
• Oversee audits and maintain SEMS with periodical reviews
• Engage with Indigenous communities on forestry sustainability
• Support community consultations and collaborative initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Forestry or Environmental Sciences
• 3-5 years relevant sustainability management experience
• Strong skills in communication and project coordination
• Knowledge of environmental auditing and management practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
