Apply scientific expertise in hepatology as a GSK Medical Science Liaison covering Alberta and Saskatchewan with 70% travel. Build peer-to-peer relationships and support healthcare professionals.
This field-based MSL serves as a scientific resource for Canadian hepatology and GI specialists. The work includes scientific exchange, clinical knowledge translation, and medical insight gathering. You will discuss data from conferences, publications, and GSK’s pipeline while supporting care for people with chronic hepatitis B and other liver diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish scientific relationships with hepatology and GI experts
- Respond to unsolicited scientific and medical information inquiries
- Contextualize data for clinical practice
- Gather insights informing GSK medical strategies
- Support regional, national, and international medical conferences
- Advanced scientific degree strongly preferred
- Relevant scientific degree and hepatology experience considered
- Residence in Calgary, Edmonton, or Saskatchewan
- Valid Canadian driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan approximately 70%
