Wesbell is accepting resumes for Telecom Installers (Level
3) to join our team in the complete furnishing, installation, and testing of power and telecom / IT equipment used in telecom, cable, wireless, and enterprise networks.
Specific Duties &
Responsibilities Include:
Installation of AUX racking, equipment racks, and cabinetsInstallation of all technology equipmentCopper and fiber cable connectorization and placementDe-Installation of equipment and cable miningInstallation of power-related equipmentInstallation of various battery typesMaintain timesheets and expense reports with rare mistakes and no remindingAny other duties that may be assignedEducation (Theoretical Training):
High School, GEGEP, vocational or technical training preferredFirst Aid / CPR TrainingLadder Safety TrainingProper Lifting Techniques TrainingWHMIS TrainingTransportation of Dangerous Goods TrainingCSTS (Construction Safety Training System)RF Awareness Training
Job Requirements &
Experience:
Practical ability and common senseMust be willing to travel and work weekends, and nights if required by the customerManual dexterity is required and mechanical aptitude an assetDC Power knowledge is a mustMicrowave installation and testing experience is a must5 years or more experience in the related fieldHave a basic understanding of electricity and electrical safetyMust have a valid drivers license and clean driver’s abstractMay require the use of a personal vehicleGeneral housekeeping is a mustMust be a team player and possess a positive and professional attitude towards work and othersFluent in English written and oralFamiliar with Rogers mobility equipment and installation practices
