Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentices for Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the Dow Path2

Zero site in Fort Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Requirements:

• Valid Steamfitter-Pipefitter Apprentice Card
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection (Must be in class)
• Confined Space and Entry
• Rigging Certificate
• Must be able to work in extreme weather temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
• Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
