Learn more about OCL here: The Role We are currently seeking skilled CWB Journeyman Welders for our fabrication shop in Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Day and Night Shifts available.
Please note:
This role is strictly for By-hand CWB Welders. Compensation/Benefits Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation Overtime after 8 hours per day.
Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) - vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travel Long term disability, AD&D, life insurance, dependent life insurance Weekly pay Job Duties/Responsibilities Perform high-quality welding using FCAW and MCAW processes to CWB standards Interpret drawings, blueprints and welding procedures Weld structural components and materials according to project specifications Ensure all welds meet or exceed CWB and internal quality requirements Maintain welding equipment and a clean, safe working environment Experience/Education/Qualifications Registered Journeyman Welder Valid CWB qualifications Current FCAW and MCAW tickets Previous experience in fabrication shop and/or field work CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015) May be required to complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test for certain sites Must have or be willing to obtain necessary site-specific safety tickets and orientations Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation Must be eligible to work in Canada OCL Group Inc.
