Embark on your journey in electrical work as an Electrical Apprentice at Silent-Aire in Nisku. This position offers night shift hours and hands-on experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
In this role, you will assist a certified Journeyperson in the assembly of control panels, conduit installations, and compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code. You will also engage in troubleshooting electrical systems to ensure proper functionality during your apprenticeship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• Assist in the construction of control panels
• Conduct wiring verification and completion tasks
• Support routine maintenance and cleaning activities
• Maintain detailed maintenance records
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Active registration as an Apprentice Electrician with AIT
• Minimum of 500 hours of related electrical experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering practices
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred
