This role offers a structured learning path while working under skilled Journeyman supervision.
In this role, you will be tasked with reading blueprints, installing various electrical components, and developing a solid understanding of electrical codes. With a keen commitment to safety and excellence, you will gain first-hand experience in troubleshooting systems and support maintenance operations. We seek candidates passionate about improving their skillset and achieving their journeyman ticket.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret electrical drawings and layout installations
• Conduct installation and repair of electrical wiring and fixtures
• Test equipment for current, voltage, and resistance
• Collaborate with Journeyman to enhance technical knowledge
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Requirements:
• Must be a registered Alberta apprentice electrician
• Valid safety training certifications (First Aid, AWP, Fall Prevention)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights
• Reliable vehicle and Class 5 driver’s license
