Join FDI Services Inc. as a Journeyperson Electrician at the City of Edmonton Waste Management Centre. This role prioritizes the safe execution of electrical maintenance tasks.
This full-time temporary role works a 12-hour night shift with a 4/4 rotation. You will be tasked with troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining critical electrical systems within the facility. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential for ensuring the smooth operation of systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute troubleshooting for electrical and control systems
• Maintain and install circuits and low/high voltage systems
• Repair and upgrade lighting and generation systems
• Work effectively at heights and under various conditions
• Perform additional assigned duties as necessary
Requirements:
• Hold a valid Alberta driver’s license with a clean record
• Possess an Electrical Journeyperson certificate
• Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities
• Capable of performing physically demanding work
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision
