Join Johnson Controls as a Journeyperson Electrician to install and maintain essential electrical systems. This position combines technical expertise with oversight responsibilities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll not only install and test various electrical systems but also mentor apprentices according to Alberta Apprenticeship standards. Your technical guidance will be crucial for ensuring safety and compliance while completing high-quality work. This position plays a critical role in supporting Johnson Controls' operational reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret schematics and oversee electrical installations
• Mentor and verify apprentice work quality
• Perform maintenance on electrical power systems
• Conduct safety assessments before electrical work
• Complete work orders and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Valid Alberta Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
• Prior experience supervising apprentices
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal communication skills
