Embark on an electrical apprenticeship at Silent-Aire in Nisku, focusing on night shifts. Develop skills in wiring, equipment assembly, and compliance with industry standards.
As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work in Silent-Aire’s innovative environment, engaging in nighttime shifts either from Monday to Thursday or starting Friday nights. Under the direction of certified Journey persons, you’ll assist with installations, troubleshooting, and the maintenance of electrical systems, all while prioritizing safety and compliance with electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in installation and termination of electrical components
• Contribute to the assembly of control panels and wiring tasks
• Engage in quality checks and equipment performance testing
• Maintain thorough records of maintenance and repairs
• Follow proper lockout/tagout procedures
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Registered as an Electrical Apprentice with Alberta
• At least 500 hours of electrical experience
• Basic understanding of electrical codes
• Commitment to learning and developing skills
