Locomotive Electrician

As part of Genesee & Wyoming Canada Inc., you will be engaged in ensuring locomotives operate safely and efficiently.

Your role will include performing required inspections, wiring and repairing electrical components, and conducting preventative maintenance. We're looking for someone with a background in electrical systems to support our operations and foster a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot locomotives and electrical components

• Conduct obligatory inspections per safety regulations

• Wire, repair, and install various electrical systems

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components

• Test single and three-phase electrical systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience or certification in Electromechanical or Electrical field

• Valid driver's license necessary

• Adaptability to changing circumstances

• Positive communication skills and autonomy needed
