Maintenance Technician – Full Time (Stettler, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, Forestburg)

Edon is looking for a reliable, self‑motivated Maintenance Technician to support our buildings across Stettler, Camrose, Wetaskiwin, and Forestburg. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems on the spot, and taking ownership of their work. This is not a desk job—you’ll be out in the field, working across multiple sites and making a real, visible impact in the communities you serve.

• Minimum of two years of relevant experience (preferred)
• Completed Grade 12 education
• A clean driver’s abstract and willingness to travel between sites within Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park, Leduc, Stony Plain, and Spruce Grove
• Ownership and ability to carry a sufficient set of tools to perform day‑to‑day maintenance tasks independently
• Basic proficiency with power tools and general building maintenance
• Basic command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and time‑management skills
• Plumbing and HVAC knowledge is considered an asset
• Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure
• Physical fitness capable of standing, crouching, kneeling for long periods and lifting in excess of 25 kilograms
• Carpentry or construction skills considered an asset
• Excellent customer care and communication skills

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as interior door repair, installation, painting, drywall repairs, and related duties
• Use a wide range of hand and power tools; basic carpentry skills including painting and drywall repair are considered an asset
• Support building operations and contractor activities as required, including escorting contractors and providing on‑site orientation
• Respond immediately to on‑demand service requests and emergencies related to client and building operations
• Troubleshoot building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm panels
• Complete routine inspections and required documentation: weekly and monthly checks, logs, interior and exterior building inspections, and roof‑top checks
• Perform and track preventive maintenance (PM) activities and time‑sensitive reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual basis
• Identify and report all deficiencies to the Operations Supervisor and Maintenance Scheduler to ensure consistent, worry‑free service delivery
• Use Edon systems and tools proficiently, including work orders, expense submissions, time sheets, mileage tracking, and learning plans, while working independently and efficiently
