Broadstreet HVAV Refrigeration Technician

Join Broadstreet Properties Ltd. as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician dedicated to maintaining mechanical systems. Collaborate with maintenance staff to optimize HVAC performance across Alberta apartments.

In this role, your expertise will ensure the efficiency and longevity of heating and ventilation systems. You will also train Maintenance Technicians, enhancing their skills in refrigeration and HVAC operation. Your hands-on approach will involve repairs, maintenance and knowing current industry practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose air conditioner and HVAC system issues

• Perform maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of all units

• Coach maintenance teams on refrigeration practices

• Conduct emergency and routine HVAC system maintenance

• Keep comprehensive maintenance reports and documentation

Requirements:

• Class B Ticket authorized by Provincial Government

• Refrigeration Technician certificate or equivalent

• Strong knowledge of refrigerant systems

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
