- Work location:
On the road - Salary: 35.00 to 47.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 44 hours per week
- Terms of employment:
Permanent employment, full time - Shift: Early morning, morning, day, weekend, to be determined, overtime available
Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required.
Responsibilities- Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
- Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects
- Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
- Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
- Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
- Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
- Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
- Supervise other workers
- Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
- Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
- Basic security clearance
- Criminal record check
- Valid driver's licence
- Own transportation/vehicle
- Physically demanding
